Agreement to Terms

By using Open Caption Finder (our mobile app and website at opencaptionfinder.com, together “the service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. It is part of how we operate the service; please read it as well.

What Open Caption Finder Does

Open Caption Finder helps you find open caption (OC) movie showtimes near you, or anywhere in the United States. We aggregate showtime data from various sources and display it in one place. We do not sell tickets directly.

Features may differ between the mobile app and the website (for example, hearting showtimes is currently available in the mobile app).

Accuracy of Information

We strive to provide accurate showtime information, but we cannot guarantee that all listings are correct or up to date. Showtime data comes from third-party sources and theaters may change their schedules without notice.

A showtime listed as “open caption” in Open Caption Finder may not actually be open caption. Theaters may mislabel showtimes, change formats without notice, or have technical issues that prevent captions from displaying. We rely on data provided by theaters, third-party sources, and community reports, and we cannot verify the accuracy of every listing.

Always confirm directly with the theater that a showtime is open caption before purchasing tickets or traveling to the theater.

Community Submissions

You may submit reports (such as missing or incorrect showtimes), feedback, movie requests, or theater and festival tips. You agree that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it.

We may review, verify, edit, reject, or remove submissions. Verified community contributions may appear in the service for other users. Optional contributor names may appear on our leaderboard when a submission is verified.

User Conduct

When using the service, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or abusive information
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape without permission, or overload our services
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us or submitting tips

Intellectual Property

The Open Caption Finder name, logo, and design of the app and website are the property of Look Loaded Inc. Movie titles, theater names, posters, and related information belong to their respective owners.

Third-Party Links

The service contains links to theater and ticketing websites for ticket purchases. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, pricing, availability, or accessibility of these external sites. Purchases are between you and the theater or ticketing provider.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Open Caption Finder is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Look Loaded Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Showtimes incorrectly listed as open caption
• Ticket purchases made based on information in the service
• Travel expenses incurred to reach a theater
• Showtimes that disappear from the service or are no longer available
• Theaters that stop offering open caption screenings
• Technical errors, glitches, or service interruptions
• Any other losses or damages related to reliance on information in the service

You use this service at your own risk. We provide showtime information as a convenience, not as a guarantee. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on information displayed in the app or on the website.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the “Last updated” date on this page when we make changes.
