Dr. Matt Marker, MD
Co-Founder
Dr. Matt Marker, MD, is d/deaf and works in pediatric cancer research. A proud Memphian and film nerd, he was inspired by an Open Caption showing at Ragtag Cinema during a road trip for his schnauzer, Peg. There he formulated the plan for a free, centralized resource to make it easier for the deaf and hard of hearing (and everyone!) to find OC movie showtimes. In a celebration of accessible moviegoing, punk rock indie theaters, and Peg, Matt and his co-founder are beyond thrilled to bring Open Caption Finder to you.
Caz Rosson
Co-Founder
During her 10 years as a Casting Director in NYC, Caz cast and developed film and TV before producing live events for Lamborghini and Ducati. Gravitationally pulled to the Arts while born tech-curious, she's also had the privilege of working with Sundance Film Festival and Tribeca Festivals, among others, while maintaining websites for interesting people.
Now, teaming up with a fellow Memphian "film nerd," she's excited to bring Open Caption Finder to you.
